My three gems finally all interconnected. Stromberg Carlson 620, RCA N2026, and a DuMont RA-109A2. Stromberg and DuMont are fully recapped, the RCA is still working well as found.

Nice sets, Greg!

Just make sure that no one tries to close the hide-away RCA with the DVD player still on top

That's pretty awesome, Greg. All you need now is the big comfy couch and a coffee table loaded with snacks.

Yeah, I have a good recliner but a couch would help too. That chinese cabinet Stromberg Carlson works like a champ once I swapped out the volume control and changed the CRT. Now I'll have to find a crt and another control and fix the other one.

Scratch the coffee table, the center hideaway RCA folds in to a nice coffee table.

Those are some cool sets!

Hey, have you seen the new car ad that shows the RCA coffee-table TV (briefly) near the beginning? They also show a Predicta screen in the same sort of montage.

Can't remember the car brand, unfortunately.

Hi Lee!

O.K. , here is another screen shot of Lee Marvin! :P

The Graetz pictures:
It is really difficult to make pictures from running TVs at daylight.
Please take a look at the wall rear the Tv receiver.
A lot of daylight came from the right, reflections of furnitures
are visible.
I tried to show not only the screen shot, just details of the cabin
has to be visible, no pictures in the dark.

The Nordmende pictures:
These pictures are made in the cellar with strong lights from the right,
but white paper under the Tv is yellowed by the light.

Graetz and Nordmende pictures are made without flasher, photgrapher on stand
(Fuji mirror reflex) and brightness turned down, until the human eye sees
closby nothing on the screen.
This gives the best contrast, a photographer sees different, I don`t know why.
I scanned the pictures on a very big CANON color copy machine, but I losed a lot of sharpness.
Making the pictures smaller in size leaded to another loss of sharpness.
See tweeter grill.

Please enjoy other pictures in the following posts!

It's a Jaguar ad:

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/02/28/jagu ... ommercial/

Watch the lady reach down to swivel up the TV. Soon after that is a wonderful clip of a rotating Sony 8-301W transistor set.

Enjoy!
