thought it would be cool to have a Ford Philco radio. its a cheapie. no output transformer. not sure what type transistors. numbering unfamiliar. looks like some have one lead cut off. BTW its not working worth a crap. not much signal. checking electrolytics not much change if any. I believe that I have an open coil in the antenna. there are four leads R/GN/BK/PLAIN. I see continuity R/GN. not good readings from BK/PLAIN to anything else. touching outdoor antenna lead to RED at first transistor getting good signal. although I am not sure what the coil leads should be w/o a print. anyone out there in transistor land take a peek at the print to let me know what the coils should be that I am looking at ? super grazie

hello again transistor radio land. back at the bench with meter found the open in the PLAIN lead of one of the antenna coils. looked to be crushed somehow. cut it out slipped a solid copper squig coil around the break soldered and presto. working loud and clear. looks to be two coils one small one larger around ferrite the larger coil open. interesting how reception works best with the coils at one end of the ferrite. I was able to slide it apart while effecting repair experimenting with different positions along the ferrite. still would like to see the print of this model with no output transformer. thanks be to transistor world

All praise and glory to the gods of the mighty transistor.... It seems I have displeased the transistor spirits for I have failed to find a T-612 schematic.
