I've got hundreds of tv tubes and don't don't what they are worth, and just want to get rid of them. I don't want to throw them out.
Should i just list them in the Classifieds for free (plus shipping)?

Do you have a 21FJP22 Round Color CRT? I need one real bad for my 1966 zenith round color TV.

Might be wrong but I'm thinking "TV tube" in this case means 6AG5, 6AX4, 11MS8, 38HK7....

Without looking it up, was 38HK7 the horiz out/damper in one envelope? Or the vert osc/out?

Yea guys, there are "tubes" and there are "picture tubes." I see no evidence that he meant picture tubes. How many people have a couple hundred extra picture tubes lying around with no idea of what to do with them?
Don't know about 38HK7, but I know 38HE7 is one of those combined horizontal output / damper tubes. With a 38 volt filament, the odds are that's what the tube is. Vertical oscillator / output doesn't need quite that much heat -- a 17JZ8 is a good example. And if you have hundreds of TV tubes of this genre (Compactrons), it's going to be hard to find a home for them.

OK you made me look. 38HK7 was indeed horiz out and damper in one envelope.
