I just recently purchased several radios and I acquired a Mohawk Lyric radio which was manufactured in New Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Does anyone have any info. about this company and their products? I tried looking on the internet but information is scarce. This radio has a wooden case, mismatched knobs and appears to have been previously restored. It was originally battery powered however it appears it has been converted to run off a car battery. Is there a safe way to test the radio or should I recap first? I will try to upload a photo later tonight.

Thanks for the info....does anyone know where can I find a matching set of knobs? I will be starting the resto. in the next few weeks and I will probably become a regular as I have lots of questions.
