Anyone in NYC? I passed an nice early 50s double-door Dumont tonight on the curb on W. 158th st., between riverside and the entrance to the West Side Highway. Cabinet is in nice shape, TV is all original. Just sittin' there. Car too small for me to take it - someone save it!

Drove by there this morning on my way to work and did not see it.
Maybe sanitation got it already or someone else did.Saw an orange
dumpster with a blue tarp over it in front of an apartment building
there,I wonder if that's were the tv came from.Oh well,I don't think
the Dumont would have fit in my car either.

Well, I hope someone got it. I felt terrible leaving it there! Ironically I was sitting next to a big 90's projection set, also waiting for the Dept of Sanitation's death truck.
