I was told this is a Muntz combo color tv. I'm guessing early 60's.
Does anyone know much about these sets? How collectable are they?

How can we tell from that dark picture? It could be an 8-track deck.

Sorry, I haven't seen it in person. This is the picture from the craigslist ad.

Any color TV which uses a round picture tube has collector interest at this point, called "roundies". That one does. I believe the TV chassis is actually RCA.

I second that. A round color set with "mid-century" design, and with the famous "Muntz" name, will likely interest TV collectors.

Really. Wonder if it was actually manufactured around then or was a carryover. Never really know with Muntz. The latest I had heard prior to this was Philco that made a few up to about 1967 or 68. I found one a year or so ago for miniman82 that I believe was a 67.
