If his grammar and spelling are any indication, he's probably a wifebeater....

Could it be "prefer 4x4"? I hear those guys are pretty rowdy and hard on their women.

Uhh... lots of ways? He's "going thru divorce" needs money, but is willing to part-trade for guns???

It's all in the context...

Before he gets a gun, convince him to speed up the process. Tell him to shoot himself first, then his wife later. I sure he can be convinced. :?

Yes, That analysis is a stretch. :o
I'm sure there are no "Doctors, Lawyers or Indian Chiefs"
guilty of spousal abuse. Probably zero number of highly
articulate Shakespearean actors.
Only dem 4x4 gun totin' Neanderthals! Yee-HAW!
This is a popular image reinforced over and over by the liberal
media...some of you boys have taken the bait..hook, line &
sinker.

My 'take' on this is 'stolen tools'. The 'divorce' ploy is often
used as that is intended to excite the greed of the Buyer -being
led to believe the Seller is desperate.
He 'needs money' but he chooses Now ? to change trades?
Odd color for a tool chest...painted?
Also, rust on tools tells me this is someone who doesn't
take his trade seriously...'used hard, and put away wet'?
No no no.
:x
He may hope to 'launder' the tools by a trade for something else
valuable(?)

Oh, no, not at all... I just think that the lower life forms have a greater likelihood of being/becoming wifebeaters.

Oh, your taking all the fun out of it ! :(

On the other hand, it does make me feel less guilty, than if he was looking to settle the score with the future ex, and we read it the paper later.

Still, if your notion is true, the threads tittle shows the wisdom of the OP. :D

Lower life forms being a mechanic? I actually heard that most wife beaters have anime avatars.

I am sure this guy already has a bunch of guns.

Reading this thread reminds me of the story of how two frogs escaped from a circus, and the ensuing rumor mill generated it up to become six escaped Lions...

Guys... spousal abuse is not limited to the "lower forms of life" you describe.

Chances are good that there are examples of it in the same neighborhood that you live in.
