If I want to increase the bass in a given circuit which direction do I go? There is a Pot for bass and it leads to a .1 at this time, Should I drop in a .047? Please some advice. Thank you. Peter

Higher capacity increases low frequency response. If you identify the circuit we might be able to tell which cap values to increase?

It would help to post a schematic of the circuit if at all possible.
