Dear Fellow Members-Finally had to break down and recap this model. Here's the schematic.

http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByMode ... 013667.pdf

Condensers C200 and C201 come off of the plate and screen of 12AT6 and are supposed to be .01 per the schematic. My radio has two .017 black beauties crammed into the small chassis. Cannot find this value, but can substitute a pair of .01 , .02 or .015 mF caps. Does it really matter? Thanx for any feedback:)-Gearhead

Are you sure those are 0.017µF capacitors? That is not a standard value. Just use 0.01µF as specified in the diagram. There is nothing critical about those caps; any of the values you suggested would work fine.

Technically, C200 and C201 are called "coupling" capacitors. the capacitance simply needs to be **large enough** to pass the low frequencies. If you put in a .02 or even a .05, you'll never know the difference. but, why not use the right value?----modern film caps in that range are cheap.
