Does anybody know where this speaker was used? Was it a replacement Part?

Yes I did see that one. Can't read the text of the ad. Still, it is more confusing than a help. It looks like there were several options, and one of them had an 80 rectifier(?) Mine is standard 30's plug in with the 2250ohm FC on a 4 pin plug, the other 2 pins being the OP trans. I just thought that the big old Jensen tag was notable.

From the Carron catalog the D-7 and D-8 were used in the following: Dayton Navigator, Sparton 737 and 921, Silver Marshall "C" etc, Airlne 29-55, Edison R4 R5 etc, Grebe AH1 and SK4, Gulbransen 727, Howard "Green Diamond", Kennedy 22 etc, Sentinel 104. May not be all, but you could look and see if the single end output and field resistance match a certain set.

Wow, I'd never have thought to look in the Carron catalog (they made replacement field coils).
