 Post subject: Possible early experimental E1T Display tube?

Anybody have any experience with this tube? It looks like a prototype for the E1T. The numbers are on an external film, taped to the tube.

Ok, I think most of the E1T's I have are Phillips. The normal E1T's I own, have the numbers painted on the outside of the bulb, and the phosphor coating on the inside looks much whiter.

I was in Eindhoven, back in 1987. Philips use to have a nice science museum there, but closed it down in 1989:
