Hello, thank you for the reply. I actually have that manual. I should have been more specific. I am looking for the alignment data. According to the manual, this was available from Hickok by request.

I just bought an original manual for this and in it was a 7 page(looks hand typed) copy of Test and Calibration Procedure dated Feb 14, 1962. It has hand drawn waveforms. I'll get it scanned and put it up on my Photobucket page for anyone to download tomorrow.

There's a procedure in the Army technical manual TM11-2642, for the TS-465/U, pages 56-57. Also in the C1 changes supplement, pages 4 through 6.

Hey Lou, can I post a copy of it on my Hickok page?

If you PM me with your email address, I can scan and send the alignment section from TM 11-2642 and the changes shown in C1 for the 288X.

Bob

Radious or Alan Douglas,

Would one of you be able to send me scans of the three foldout schematics from the TM 11-2642? I found this manual, but it is missing the three foldouts.

Thanks for the consideration,

Bill N4LG

For those who would like a copy of approximately 80-page TM 11-2642 for the TS-465, 465A or 465B Signal Generator, Robert Downs has these available for a nominal cost, however, they are missing the three schematic foldouts. The theory of operstion section with schematics and the alignment section are valuable when used with the Hickok 288X manual.

Radious,

Would you be able to scan the three fold-out schematics (TS-465, TS-465A & TS-465B/U) from your TM 11-2642? I would appreciate pdf's to complete my manual (missing pages) and fix my TS-465A.

THANKS in advance - Bill N4LG

OK, there seems to be a lack of documentation for the Hickok signal generators out on the internet, so I will scan the manual, changes, and schematics contained in TM 11-2642. It may take a day or two because there are over eighty pages and the schematics are too big for my scanner so they will have to be stitched together. I'll also need to find someone with a site to host the data.

Wow, what a coincidence. I was just today looking for the TM11-2642 manual as well. Bob, this'll be a big help. Thanks for scanning this in for us. My 288X doesn't seem to be working properly so I'm hoping this'll help me to figure out what the problem is.

Steve

When Bob gets the files done I will post them for download and add the link to this discussion for anyone that finds this thread in the future.

I finished up the TM 11-2642 this morning. I think it turned out OK for someone that doesn't know what they're doing. :D

Steve, thanks for hosting it. Your site is a real service to us all.

All set. The file is a little over 16 Mb. Here's the page with the 288X (TS465/U) file:
