Does anyone have an electronic copy of this? The King County (Seattle) library used to allow access through the web, but that ended 4/30. The web page says something about being reserved for their patrons...that must mean in person?

I think a patron is someone who gives them lots of money.

There is no listing in Sams for the 1200A.

We'll need the full model number, such as GTM-1200A to identify the correct folder.

Is this the one you bought? If so, it is in Sam's 515-5.

Definition of a patron:
pa·tron [pey-truhn]
noun
1. a person who is a customer, client, or paying guest, especially a regular one, of a store, hotel, or the like.
2. a person who supports with money, gifts, efforts, or endorsement an artist, writer, museum, cause, charity, institution, special event, or the like: a patron of the arts; patrons of the annual Democratic dance.
3. a person whose support or protection is solicited or acknowledged by the dedication of a book or other work.
4. patron saint.
5. Roman History . the protector of a dependent or client, often the former master of a freedman still retaining certain rights over him.

I would suspect they are referring to those people who support the library, either county taxpayers or monetary contributors.

Yes, the GTM 1200A....the ebay link is the same radio...but not the SAME radio. This one came out of a hoarders house. She passed along with no heirs so the cleaning crew/personnel representative is selling off the valuable and junking the worthless. They saw the ebay sale deamed this one not worth selling and I got it. Wanted to see if I can make it work. It does receive stations, but is very noisy unless I put a finger on the RF portion of the variable tuner cap. Then it is almost usable.

I might take a couple of other multi band portables off their hands another WARDS and a WORLDSTAR, but they are not very old/interesting so I am wavering.

Thank you for the SAMS reference. $15 to SAMS does not seem like a good investment for a <$8 radio. I may have to fumble though and draw my own.
