I am trying to bring this cute tombstone back to life but the volume control is missing. on the schematic it shows a pot with another resistor in series with it and refers to both of them as the volume controls. Could this have been a tapped pot or just a series resistor?

Looks like it's in series to me.

Like Phil said it's in series but sometimes within the pot. If it's there won't be a tap. The volume control will just stop at 100 ohms.

I can't quite make out the value of the pot but it looks like it could be 75K, is that right?
Thanks guys..
