Listings for Scott 800B radios offered for multiple thousands of dollars have been around for a long time. I cannot believe that the sellers are so clueless that they believe the set is worth their asking price. They are simply looking for a clueless and foolish buyer. Why they pick on the Scott 800B receiver for this purpose when there are so many other better candidate objects is beyond me.

Then again, look what this guy gets for chunks of broken glass and what he is asking for sand and railroad slag coated with Varathane.... !

That corner is not chipped off........ it's BLOWN OFF!!

It looks to me that a dog chewed the corner off apparently looking for some healing crystals which didn't work on the dog.
