Since it has tubes and a printed circut it may be from the 60s. May sound stupid but what is Sams servicer 721?

Sams servicer is usually just a schematic and no other information.

Hey Stan! Wanna know the secret?

Remove the 4 bottom screws, then turn the radio around and look carefully where the AC cord interlock is connected on the cabinet. You should see a small metal tab, carefully push in on this and it will dislodge the heavy metallic front from the plastic cabinet.

Be careful, this is what I consider a historically significant radio for Crosley. The "t" line was the last to come down the assembly line after AVCO announced it would cease production of the Crosley line. Of course this bad news came to workers right before the holidays in 1956.

DR Radio not sure what you are talking about. Just figured i would pass on my experience with this radio. First power up there was nothing but a ticking sound coming out of the speaker. Check the tubes it had 2 bad ones. Replaced them and no difference. I then replaced the E caps. This at least produced static in the speaker. I then replaced all the caps. I was then able to here some stations but at a very low volume. I then checked all the resistors. Had to replace replace 4 of them because they were way out of spec. I then aligned it and the radio is playing just great. I was kind of surprised that it had so many bad parts. Hey, To me this is not a very old radio. Maybe they were using cheap parts before they sold out

I think the environment in which a radio is kept has a lot to do with how the parts age. Damp climates seem to be the worst.
