Just a couple things from the local Flea. This big RCA AM/FM which works great but needs 2 knobs, $1 And this GE 8-track which also works great and big box-o-tapes $5 I was pretty happy, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nice find on the Zenith and the Crosley ! They have both been catching my eye for a while and you found both at once! Great ! Peter

125 78's for $20. Old country to 50's pop. 95% post war. No classical and only a few Swing and Sway w/ Sammy Kaye.

Spent a whopping $26 but came home with a early Philco tube manual, a Weston tube tester manual, a Cornell-Dubilier eye tube cap tester, and a small really nice working SONY AM/FM/weather band portable which I think I'll keep in the camper since it's got a heavy duty antenna and water resistant case. ...that C-D cap bridge brings back a few memories (we had one in our shop; I remember using it a few times)...and so does that Sony radio...it's a TFM-110 or something like that...IIRC it's intended to be water-resistant and if you ever need to do any work on it, it's going to be a bear to get into...

I made out like a bandit today in the lighting department. A pair of c. 1905 pin-up brackets with mica sockets and a nice 30's floor lamp - I already had the shade in waiting so it was nice. I broke two twenties on them, but got 12 back. BTW... the shade is actually ornate, but it got obliterated in the exposure.

Larry I do stop once inawhile at the fleas but 99% of the time the same dumpster trash. Tag sales are much better for finds. JMO.
