I purchased one of these , thinking it was same size as suitcase model
NO NO NO

The Meter itself is 9 inches X 8 Inches . You can see it across the room 20 feet away.

The thing stands 23 1/2 tall and 17 1/2 Wide. Must be a Retail Counter top version.

The Chrome Hood holds a Light in it

Kinda Nice , but need to find a counter to put it on and find some old roll charts .

I had one of these for a number of years in the room where I displayed my antique radios. Never tried to test a tube on it, but it sure did make a great lamp 8)

Turns out it is a n Excellent Tube Tester for GOOD /BAD

Highly rated for this use. I have checked this one and it is very accurate.

One thing takes getting use to. A NOS Tube will not test past 65% on the GOOD Scale.
Just the Design of it.
Rumor has it when Cal'd correct Needle lands in center of the letter G of GOOD

Quite a conversation piece for sure.

A shop that I worked for in North Bergen NJ, circa 1957, had one of these behind the counter, facing the customer. We bought and sold Rauland tubes by the thousands, selling at a substantial discount from list price. So that the customer would know that we didn't fiddle the tester settings, we would compare a weak testing tube against a new tube, without changing any settings. Many customers would purchase a number of new tubes, and then have to bring the set in to repair what was actually wrong.
