I like it but yet I don't like it. Now you have to go through a bunch of things to narrow things down. What's every one else's thoughts on this?

Well I have not noticed many changes for buyers however for sellers there have been some changes to the way Selling manager works. Ebay has implemented a new flash pop up. When you mark your items as sold a little flash menu pop's up and asks you to confirm the status. The problem is the page on the background looks the same until you refresh the screen you don't get to see the changes you made.. I would think that this would be a real pain for someone on dial-up. I know it is with DSL. I work for a company that sells online and I process 100's of orders a month. It has been a pain to use the new system.
I thought at first it was my dis-like of change but no, it just plans stinks.

I wanted to start an auction last night. I used the sell similar item feature, or I should say; Tried to. It gave me a full screen with no prompts. I will try again today. I had better start now, it'll probably take me til 10 to relearn how to do it. Brain Pain.

A couple of years ago, when ebay was still "Powered by IBM"
I could get into ebay to buy within a minute or so.
Then they went to some other software, keeping pretty much the same look. It then took several minutes just to get into the site, and became very difficult to bid.
Now I can't even get into ebay. I try to log on and all that happens is the little blue bar at the bottom of the screen slowly crawls about a third of the way and stops.
So, I've given up on ebay. It doesn't work, apparently, without high speed access.
That or it won't work with older computer software.
In either case, I didn't really leave them. They left me.

I can't realy explain it, but on my computer it has a new format, it has a bunch of questions and choices to refine your search, and all of the products at the bottom. But the wierd thing is that on my parents computer the page is still the same as it was before, no changes what so ever. I don't know what is going on.

Probably just teething problems just like this forum had when the switch was done. I consider myself fortunate that I don't use Ebay any longer.

For sellers, "Describe your item" has changed. You have two choices: 1. Previously used 2. Generic categories. Choose a generic - "collectibles" for example. Hit "continue" and the old selection format appears.

:( And, I can't stay logged in any more. I sued to.......

It's harder to download pix. for selling, and half the time you have to type in some letters, and nos when e mailing, and half the time, they are not readable. And, why is it I am logged in on main page, but, logged out on individual pages? And, I check the box to keep me logged in, and, by the end of the day I'm logged back out? And, I do NOT have my computer set to auto dlete cookies, either. Bill

They can lower their "Final Value Fees". That would make me happy. Fat chance of that happening. :(

They're always changing something. And always something "big", in the summer. But basically, the same. They've allowed higher res photos, in the last year or two. As long as they still allow links to outside sites, I'll probably still sell with them. Though, I'm toying with the possibility of moving to Amazon. If I ever have a significant variety of items to sell, I might just bite the bullet, and make a 'real' merchant website.
