Nice enough, but a bit modern for my taste (Coral was Decca's second-tier label in the 1950's)
Interesting record, though. thanks for sharing it with us!

Thank you-good sound quality.
How did you video and record it ? Did you use a cell phone or a digital camera or ?? I think something like that is a good sales tool when trying to sell a radio that works and can be seen working with sound.

Damn that voice is familiar but I cant place it. It might be a young Granpa Jones.
Youre going to have me listening to it all night now

Grandpa Jones wasn't "young" in the 50s. Grandpa Jones was on the Grand Old Oprey when I was 5 years old (in 1932). Really, sounds like a female to some extent. Judging from how Graddpa sounded on the Hee Haw series, not too long afer the 50s, this wasn't him.

Hmmm, he was born in 1913 which had him still a teenager in 32. He didnt join the Opry until 1946
Also Hee Haw was in the 70's and 80's.
That demo has his style of pickin', the yodel, and Mountain Dew became one of his best known songs. That could easily been an earlier version from the early 40's.
Whoever it is I like it. Been into Bluegrass and old style country since I was 12. Didnt have many to share it with in NYC! But it sure beat that geriatic crap my parents listened to.

I have a couple of Grandpa Jones' early recordings. He sounded the same then as on Grand ole Opry.
