| I have a 46-1209 Philco with a turntable, with (I believe a D-10A turntable). Does anyone know how to remove the phonograph arm. I am trying to figure out how to remove the cartridge. Thanks |

Most phonos arm will lift up far enough to work on it . Many have a set screw at the hinge you can loosten & get it to come off . If you take the nuts off that hold it on its shaft you will probably throw the alignment off & need to adjust it again .
I find alot of the time removing the TT from the cabinet helps . |

Amazingly, the Philco D-10 or D-10A (magnetic cartridge version, with chrome stripe on top of the arm) are very good record changers. The rubber idler wheels seem to survive well. Just be VERY careful when you remove the spindle to degrease and relube it that you do it over a towel so you dont loose the ball bearings!
