My daughter has surgery on the 27th, but if all goes well, I'll try to make it down there.

Thank you, John! I've got some email contacts I'll forward this to.

And Nixie - You should try to come to the Museum of Radio and Technology in Huntington, WV on Oct 16th. Supposedly lots of NOS parts for auction this time.

If anyone is coming from or through Louisville we have an ARF member who might need a ride to and from. If you think you can help shoot me a PM or e-mail and I'll get you in contact with that person.

Thanks!

Just a friendly bump in case someone missed this earlier. One of the last meets of the year in our area.

If anyone attending the Lexington meet has two type 51 bulbs (7.5 volts, small round bulb, miniature bayonet base), I will be there and would like to purchase two good ones.

Edit: #44 and 47 bulbs will not work in this application as the bulbs are too long. #55 bulbs also do not fit. This project requires two #51 bulbs.

Thanks!

I'm breaking out the winter coat. 8AM temp is supposed to be 29 degrees! This will be our first real freeze.

Hey! Everyone bring their haunted radios! :D

For a "renewed" club meet, this was quite lively.
Many familiar faces, and quite a few new faces too.

Marty and I had a nice time visiting with folks.
Many thanks to the organizers of this meet.

Julie

Thanks to all who came out to our new meet location! It was great seeing folks show up from TN and IN, and as Julie mentioned there were a lot of new and old faces.

If you couldn't make it watch for the announcement of our spring meet (date not yet finalized).

This was the first time in years that I have been to Lexington. Nice meet, and a good time was had by all.

Many thanks to John for the Philco item, and also to Terry for the #51 bulbs. I sincerely appreciate it, guys! :)
