Westone Model 30, c. 1932

This is one of the first radios I ever bought. It had been stripped by the previous owner, and I tried refinishing it several times, but couldn't figure out how to do it right (it’s made of two different woods). Then one day watching an old Martha Raye movie, there it was in the background—and I now knew the center part had been painted! The cabinet has been lacquered, and the center section finished in black lacquer that accents it’s strong Deco styling.
