Q: How much is my radio worth?

A radio is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it at a given time. This varies a lot depending on who you are selling it to, where the sale is taking place and how motivated the seller and/or the buyer is. There are guides that will give an estimate of what a radio may sell for. You can also try asking in the Antique Radio Forums.

Q: What can you tell me about my radio?

Probably not as much as the people in the Antique Radio Forums. There are a lot of people that are experts in the various different types and styles of radio sets.

Q: How do I get my radio fixed? Are tubes and other parts available?

If you want to try to get it working yourself (and it's often not that difficult) you can get help and guideance from the people in the Electrical/Mechanical Restoration section of the Antique Radio Forums. For help with the cabinet and appearance of the set, try the Cabinet Restoration section for advice. To find some one in your area that might be able to fix your radio for you, try your local radio club or the Antique Radio Forums.

Tubes and parts are for the most part readilly available and reasonably priced. Check the Parts and Tubes section of the Antique Radio Resources for internet suppliers.

Q: Where can I sell my radio?

Contact your local radio club and see when they might be having a radio swap meet. Or post an ad in the classified section of the Antique Radio Forums. Or list it on Ebay.
