I have a RCA that says "Spinette" as the model # that was also made in Montreal. These things seem to be really hard to find any info on. Best of luck with it.

Victorette is the name of the RCA model, it's a Canadian RCA from 1939 or so. I've seen it in an RCA manual but don't have that manual.
Best Regards

Thanks Everyone.
The one you gave me Radiotechnician was exactly it . I changed the caps, ( the 8mfd and the double 10mfd. ) replaced power cord, did dial cord and it works. My only problem is volume control is touchy and I could hardly read the small caps. I wanted to replace those caps. Would anyone have the control ,the on-off is good on it but volume not.I sprayed it but no help,
Thanks everyone
Bruce

First replace the caps, use the pictorial guide the do that, and see how
that affects the volume coltrol

Volume control may be just dirty, squirt some isopropyl alcohol inside with an eye dropper and work the control back and forth, if it's really bad you may need to take it apart and clean it out with Varsol followed by the alcohol. The other condensers will also need replacement before making any other judgments. I would also replace the 270,000 Ohm resistor on the plate of the 6Q7 tube, those were often 1/4 Watt resistors in RCAs and CGE sets of this period and have a 99% chance of failure, replace it with a 270,000 Ohm 1/2 watt resistor.

I got a really bad victorette, the thing must have been in a box of water.

the volume pot was seized , leaving it in a pill jar with varsol did its magic, then alcohol and some lubricant

I forget what is Varsol? White gas or Naptha?
If so, the modern equivalent is Coleman fuel. :D Cheers.
