Anyone have an Irving radio? I believe based on the limited info I can find there were around 10 models, all with the same or similar chassis. I just acquired one wiht the cabinet and hardware/faceplate in very good condition, but someone romoved all the coils and they are hanging loose. One will need rewound. I could use a couple clear photos of the underside of the chassis to determine coil locations and orientation. Thanks in advance.

Irving Radio Corp was one of the short lived attempts to enter the radio manufacturing business. I have an example in my collection is as much as I live in a suburb of Columbus OH. Mine is complete, but untested and unrestored.

Davep44 - Any chance of getting a couple good quality photos of the underside of the chassis? Someone had cut many of the wires on mine, the coils were hanging loose, with cut wires, and the two inner brackets attaching the faceplate to the chassis are gone. I have a schematic, but have found at least one error. The tube layout diagram is wrong. Thanks.

Update-a little late but may be of interest to some. I did finally get it running. Had to re-wind one of the coils, and essentially rewire the entire set. It cleaned up very nicely. It ran strong for about 20 minutes then stopped. Hopefully that was due to my batteries getting too low. They are getting a little weak. At that point I put it together and put it in the radio room for display. Try again some other day.
