You will love the sound of it. Here's my fully restored 1867. I had an input jack added, and I plug in a Bluetooth receiver (little box on the floor to the right) so I can stream any audio source to the radio. My full audio library on my laptop, ready to go is pretty neat. The sound is simply amazing. Mono with balls AND class. It has a full, rich tone, with a great soundstage. I'm listening to some Steely Dan on it right now. It does very well with the limited AM stations we get where I live, too. Not that I'm any expert, but it's the best sounding vintage radio I have ever heard.

Like I said....you will love it.
