So one of those "Frankenradios" that people are always complaining about? Upon seeing one posted in here, alot of you get angry and get your pitchforks and torches ready.

It's funny how we all call the Frankenstein monster "Frankenstein". That was, or course, the mad doctor's name that brought him back to life! :)

Here's a bit of trivia. Boris Karloff would take out his prosthetic, which left a hollow on his cheek and added to "the look."

Interesting. i always wondered if he had to pucker his cheeks all the time to get that look. You can clearly see it in the pic. Boris Karloff defined the word "gentleman".

The cabinet might be Echophone, but I think it has a Crosley chassis with a speaker from an RCA. :lol:

And two of the knobs are from a GE. Kind of like it's been pieced together from other radio parts. :wink:
