I have a Grundig M 11 Musical Instrument ST/PX I.m trying to find service info for. Sold at the PX for the American market. It has the full 108MHz scale. Anybody have any info on this? I did the usual searches in the usual places. Sams never heard of it.
Thanks.

Owner never sent me a full picture. It's the usual age of late 50's.

Grundig had a number of radios called Majestic Musical Instrument in the 1955 to 1960 time frame but the model numbers are all in the 7000 and 8000 range. You might be able to identify it by the tube lineup.

If you e-mail Hans Stellmacher he will send you a Grundig M11 schematic for free.

Hi

Please note, that the radio listet at RM Bocket is a domestic model. The radiomuseum.org lists two model M11 - the M11ST and the M11ST/WE. The WE is an export model with no FM.

The M11ST/PX will probably also be an export model and will differ in the FM range (already mentioned) up to 108 MHz with other de-emphasis, BC and two SW-bands instead of FM (88-104 MHz), BC, SW and Longwave for the domestic model.

So - if the M11ST/PX is not listed in SAMs, chances are small to find a matching schematic. But as the schematic for the domestic model is available (also free at RM.org) and it's only a 6 tube model, a repair should not be a problem.

Kind regards, Walter
