 Post subject: FM radio dial numbers

The numbers on my old fm radio dial goes from 200 - 300. Is this a wavelength? What is the unit?

Many FM radios particularly car radios can tune down to 87.75 MHz which is TV Channel 6 sound carrier.

Perhaps this could be considered channel 199? :wink:
