Found the Radiola in my attic when preparing to move. Live in Reading Massachusetts and would rather not throw it in the trash. Happy to gift it to a local member.

Someone needs to grab it.

I'd drive down to get it.

Sent an Email and did not receive a reply.

I am still interested.

I'm in Connecticut. PM me if you want to get rid of it & JBL-1 can't make it there.

What about the radio? Someone post pictures whoever gets it. Just to break hearts, if it is nice.

Here's hoping JBL-1 got it.

Here are some pictures of the Radiola V. I have a big dining room project going where I don't have the ceiling enclosed so I haven't had time to check the audio transformers. It was missing the tubes and the headphones may have been recently sent to the dump. It does have the wood top and is pretty clean. The crystal may work once the metal holder is straightened out. Glad to have this Radiola. I've never owned one of these.

That is my favorite model of Radiola, unfortunately I haven't come across one yet...I'd say your luck was at a very high level, since you got the top! I understand they are even scarcer than the two radio chasses and bottom tray, and often the crystal apparatus is missing pieces as well. The action of the extended-range variable condenser is engaging to watch. Enjoy...I'm quite envious!

I have one of those and it plays well through a horn speaker with some 01A's although I believe it was made for 1 Amp tubes.

There should be some glass tube grid leaking resistors on each audio stage. There was also a long wave coil option although most were made for broadcast.

As I recall it will have a "C" battery connection on the side, I recommend using a C battery on this set.

Original top is worth the price of the set.
