Some of the old Dow Key ham radio changeover relays do not make a good contact on receive. You can try DeOxit, but may not fix the issue. The trick is to use the auxiliary relay contact block to provide tension to push with more pressure on the send-receive contact. Using a pair of needle nose plyers, twist the first contact leaf towards the Dow Key body. Thru the nylon rod it produces more pressure on the receive position contact inside. I fixed two Dow Key relays with intermittent receive using this trick. At an average of $60+, you do not want to replace this relay.
