I was able to duplicate the unique clips used for the Philco "Hippo" models - 46-420 and 48-460. I made a jig and used scrap metal banding material. The notched teeth were made with right-hand and left-hand tin snips. This is my first attempt at making these. The original clip is on the left; my creation is on the right.

I don't know if it's worth my time. It takes me about ten minutes to make a clip. Plus it depends on what a fair price point would be.

Nice job, I'm in for four. Price them to reflect your time and materials. Hey, if we are not up to the price, you don't need to make them.
Best, Jerry

It's an unobtanium item, which is where the value is. If your shop time is worth $40/hr, then about $7.00 each...
