 Post subject: Noval adapter for Jackson 648R

I needed to test some 7868 tubes on my Jackson 648R that has no Novar socket.

So I took a Novar socket and an Octal plug Wired it up like this

noval 453129867
octal 27834516 tc (TC is top cap wire)

Once I had connections soldered and working I took a medicine bottle cut ends off and cut across it. Put a hole in it for the top cap wire to go through. wrapped it around the wiring and wrapped in Electrical tape.

Works well now I can test all Novar tubes listed in Jim Cross's book.
