After buying a new Linear Amp and adding it to the desk I am running out of room. I had a towel covering it but it keeps moving around. The top has become part of the work desk. I don't know who to give credit but I saw where someone put snaps to hold a cover on something. Here is what I did to keep a peace of thin rug from moving around. Removed 4 screws holding the top on and placed the male snaps under the screws. Added the female snaps to the rug. No damage, comes right off when needed and keeps tools from sliding off. Best of all it protects my Amp. FWIW, Carl.

Added info. The rug used has to be very thin. I used the rug trunk liner from GMC cars. It is only one/eight 1/8 of an inch thick. Any thing thicker won't take the snaps. Carl

Awesome idea!! :D And infinitely adaptable too, love the idea that it isn't a permanent mod, and can be removed if required.

Tom
