Another radio Willee has for sale is a Zenith 765.

It looks as if the legs were shortened. In comparison to one I have...... you can see the difference.
A puzzling oddity, as if someone removed a section of the legs.

Puzzling, however you may recall that some of the old Zenith files mention some models getting factory shortened legs, due to poor sales. I seem to remember posting about a model 11 or 10? a few years back, and there were notes by MacDonald confirming the legs being shortened.....so it may be a factory set...?? lol

That's what I'm wondering. A factory mod.

It seems really strange for someone to shorten them like that after the fact.

I thought it looked funny. Looks like the fancy part of the leg is there, just the plain center section is gone.
