I am amazed they had that back in the 1950's, never saw one before. Looks like someone let a 10 year old loose on it........

Not a fan of AC/DC radios and particularly plastic ones but this has some "charm". Only a few miles from where we are now but it seems to have a cabinet crack on the right side and perhaps one on the left. Also missing one of the "jewels" on the front. If not for those problems I might give it a try. It is certainly different!

Whoever bedazzled it did a respectable job on the placement of the rhinestones. I'm sure the one little orange stone is easily replaceable.

The only issue I have is that the three stones on the centermost arch are not purple. THEN it would be perfect.

yes joe ! it's not for me :D .

i can't believe someone would mindlessly jack up (lack of the use of a much better word) a nice radio like this with such a pea brained, cheese ball, and dimwitted look .

worse yet, someone bid and paid $130 dollars for this simpleminded bastardization.

that's even more pathetic.

  You're killing me Steve! I agree, but it seems non-radio people go for these '50's arts and crafts creations. I remember there was a wave of red Coca-Cola themed radios some years ago - eeek!

thanks joe.

at least i made someone's day.

i absolutely loathe cheeseball junk like this.

it is a radio, not some work of unintelligent asinine rubbish.

even the 14 four year old's that i teach everyday are smart enough to know this is stupid.

Good lord

Didn't take seller long to flip it. Seller has a following and a good line of BS in his descriptions.
