Looks like a WWII production using an automotive radio;

So is that worth more to a radio collector or a vintage car collector?

It says "Motorola" on top of the radio box.

Such a sad radio. Makes you want to transport it to Oregon to find someone who can assist you in putting it out of it's misery. I know there's a place in history for this, but there won't be a place in my collection. :wink:

That service is permitted in Colorado, too. :roll:

I'd buy it if I had room,if you ever used the word "rare" to describe a radio this would be it!
But we all know "rare" doesn't always = big $...

I think I actually have the radio if it is a Motorola,recapped and working in my office at work,even has an automotive mast antenna attached to it.
