Here is the feedback I left on eBay :
Great seller - fast shipper - Very Happy

Here is the eBay response :

"We don't allow profanity on eBay. Please revise your comment."

By process of elimination, I discovered that the word "VERY" is a profanity.

I learn something new every day :D :D :D

Yes, the word that supercedes "very" is "really". Usually used incorrectly.

I suppose you could write, "Great seller - fast shipper - Vary Happy". Perhaps many would not notice "vary" instead of "very", and it certainly wouldn't be the worse case of poor grammar/spelling that I've seen on eBay...

With eBay programmers, I sometimes cut them some slack. I think they're doing the best they can under the pressure of having to show change/progress/improvements to their system, whether it's needed or not.

There's a Silicon Valley retireee I talk to once in a while. He commented that whenever one of the companies goes through a round of layoffs, the best, more talented, and better performers tend to be hired by one set of companies; the rest are picked up by other tech companies. We're talking about outfits like Google, Yahoo, Intel, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, eBay, etc. etc. You may speculate which companies are the former or the latter.

(I think it's like this in most industries).

Reminds me of a website selling Lewis and Clark Commemorative Hats for the 2004 bicentennial event. I couldn't get the page to come up - server software was blocking me, and I got a visit from the IT we-think-we-are-gods staffers - the page was lchats.htm, and contained the word "chat" - banished by the IT gods...
