This console is coming up for auction locally and I'm trying to find a model number. It looks like it may be named the Decorator but I couldn't find any information on RM.org. Anyone have any idea what model it is? It has a post-war FM dial and there looks like there may even be a tuning eye at the top of the dial. Thanks for your help!

It might be a model 534. I haven't found any photos yet to be sure. It's just 8 tubes, not one of Hoffman's 12+ tube radios with pp output. Probably not worth even going to the auction.

I think it's model 167. There is one free on Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley Craigslist.

I don't think it's a tuning eye. This is too modern. It's got a single ended 6V6 output tube, 5Y3 rectifier, standard FM-AM circuit.

Strange though, it's rated for 115 V 50-60 Hz but includes a turntable. I wonder how they made the turntable work on both frequencies.

Great dial, boring cabinet.
