The lister says:

Vintage Hickok 600A Tube Tester Micromho Dynamic Mutual Conductance Analyzer. Condition is "Used". Its looks to be missing a gauge but everything else is there this is untested as is Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

On Oct-20-20 at 06:12:01 PDT, seller added the following information:
Does turn on, unable to see if it works as it should.

Not worth much without a meter.

If you got it for $20 it might be worth trying to convert it to a digital readout.

The 600A/605A had meter movements with plastic pivots that often broke in shipping. Had that happen to me, and it cost me an additional $150 over the $200 initial price. If the seller is asking for $157 that is NOT a reasonable price; a good meter will cost another $100 at least, if the buyer could find one. Also, the tube tester is UNTESTED so it may be a basket case with multiple parts missing.

If you can scan and print a copy of the meter scale to be inserted into a replacement meter, it wouldn't be too hard to come up with something to work.

What is the current rating and internal resistance of a Hickok 600A meter?

This is a 605a model instead of 600a, IIRC, because I saw the voltage range selector and the pile of wirewound resistors behind it.

This model (as well as 534 and some others) comes with the extra function to measure voltage/capacity, maybe useful at their time, but totally useless today. In fact these useless functions make these types of testers much more difficult to repair/calibrate, and for sure will reduce people's interest in them.

My 2c.

Yes, if you check the photos more carefully, it's a 605A construction and also has 605A printed on the panel.

But the title of the ebay listing and this thread list it as Hickok 600A :D
