Years ago I bought (and still have) a Silvertone 4587A. When I bought it, it looked like this

Some kind of weird antique paint. And that grille cloth.

And tonight, this shows up at https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 7761895299

Anyone want to run to Chicago for a chance to fix this one up? I'll keep my $100 in my pocket. I've had this experience already and don't need to repeat it.

The black and red is sharp but clashes badly with that gold mirror dial. If you want to do a set up in black and red you have to start with a black dial set IMO. :)
