I just finished building soft start prototype #1. Attached are a few pictures of it. As you can see in the picture no load output is 114 volts connected to the 6vac tap on the power transformer wired for bucking the line voltage. Inside there is a fuse holder with a 2.5 amp fuse, a 12vct 2.5amp transformer and a CL-90 thermistor.

Thanks Leigh,
I purchased the volt meter on eBay, do a search on 22mm volt meter, you will get many hits.

Regards
Sal

Thanks, Sal.

Mouser has a bunch of different ones in stock, made by Murata.

You just have to know what to look for.
