Greetings colleagues, The above shown receiver design is not a replica. It is an implementation according to the instructions printed in 1923 in the magazine RADIOAMATÉR, this is the first information published in the press about this type "all concert" of receiver in Czechoslovakia. Here is my effort to design a receiver after almost a hundred years.
You can see the construction process,

Excellent craftsmanship!

A prize winner at any Radio Conference!

Impressed with the left-handed reaction control arm. Like advancing the belt drive on an old tractor...

Thank you for your answer and I am sending a link directly to the year of the 1923 magazine. Instructions for building the device are from page 69. Unfortunately, only in Czech.

There was a question about the magazine, which contains instructions, I am sending a link directly to the year of the magazine 1923. Instructions for building the device are from page 69. Unfortunately, only in Czech.

The wiring diagram seems to be based on design published in March 1923 in Modern Wireless p. 150 to 152.

What you have done there is very excellent work and an example to others of how things can be done, if you put the effort and attention to the very small details that are often forgotten, as people rush to finish a project.

You should be very proud of yourself.

I'm sure the original designer would be equally as impressed by your work.

Generally I'm a very tough judge of construction projects and it is not very often that a build leaves me breathless with my jaw hanging open.

Go Here:

https://www.antiqueradios.com/forums/vi ... 1&t=342931

and here:

https://www.antiqueradios.com/forums/vi ... 1&t=344081

The Deforest resonated the coils with a 1000pf variable cap. The tuning ranges in meters are given to the coils in that combination. The resonance for other variable caps can be found by either calculation or from a chart in ALFRED A GHIRARDIs Radio troubleshooters handbook... chas
