Hello, radio fans, I moved my 85 yr old mom and her antiques... don't know what to do with a zenith allegro portable console, record player, 8 track tape player (with tapes!), radio, huge speakers. It apparently was working before the move but not now. Any idea if it's worth fixing?
Thanks, EB

A "portable console"? Sounds like an oxymoron. Assuming that it is a large horizontal-format console, the unit isn't worth a lot even it it were working perfectly: perhaps $50-$100.

Is it that wedge-shaped table-top stereo? If so there may be some interest in it. If you are in a large city you might try listing on Craigslist

Just repaired and sold one of those in total working condition...$150. If you have to have it repaired just sell as-is for $50.
