I put together my original Heathkit AF-1500 Receiver back in 1970 and have kept all the tools and manuals for almost 50 years through numerous moves and events. I even used it about two years ago to fix a problem in one of the amplifier channels. Now, when I want to update a second AR-1500, I can't find the manual. I'm sure it is around the house somewhere, but you accumulate a lot of stuff over 70 years of life. I would appreciate it if someone would either sell or let me use their AR-1500 manual for purposes of re-capping my old AR-1500 and making the second one work.

Along those lines, I understand that Heathkit subsequently came out with a AR-1500A which was an improvement over the original AR-1500. I would also be interested in upgrading one of the two receivers to an A model, if possible or feasible. Is any help available along these lines/

I have the complete AR-1500 manual available too.

I just finished up a complete AR-1515 manual which is roughly a similar number of pages and foldouts (just shy of 300 pages including counting all the foldout pages, schematics, etc.). The thing weighed almost 1.5 pounds.

Vin,
I corresponded with oddmix.com, but I now understand that he is in the process of winding down the site. No luck there. I believe that is the same as agtannenbaum.com.
