I visited a ham buddy of mine a couple days ago to pickup some
450 ohm ladder line so I can rebuild my G5RV.
He happened to have a load of "stuff" he was planning to take
to a Carolina DX Association meeting to give away to help
cleaning out his basement and some other stuff for a silent key's
estate. One of the items I brought home was this Western Electric
100F audio amplifier.
The pix below shows it with all the dust still on it, I'll give it
"The Treatment" in a few days.
I google it and found lots of general info on it, but nothing that
could exactly what it was intended to be used with.
Hopefully someone here will know.
I've included some close up photos showing the two labels that
are on it.

Thanks a bunch.

Pulled from some web site:
"Was used by the railroads to listen to dispatcher's orders from over the telephone line"

Simply, a mono block roughly 11 watt amplifier with enclosed speaker. A WECo collector's item for some crazy reason (or maybe no sane reason at all) :D
