I was thinking about replacing the old PS caps in my Tandberg TR-2075. The lead spacing for surface mount is 12.5mm. I wanted to use Nichicon UKW1J472MRD audio grade caps but their lead spacing is 10mm. Is there any harm in going to the next size up UKW1J682MRD ? The current 4 caps are 4700mfd @63. The new caps would be 6800mfd @63v and should fit without mods.

There is no harm in going to a higher capacitance - more filtering is better in your power supply, within reason.

6800uf shouldn't cause any problem whatsoever. Tolerances for power supply electrolytics tend to be pretty wide anyway.
