Purchased this yesterday as a "historical curiosity", as I've slowly collected a few pieces of Espey test equipment ( 100, 104, 105, SG-112)
over the years and the hi -fi stuff is usually "inobtanium" or too expensive...
Looked through my fifties era Allied, Hudson, Ashe, Burstein Applebee and Newark catalogs, the Radio master catalogs 51-52, 52-53,... Only thing I found close in design is in the 1953 Newark catalog on 2nd page...

This 2 section, 5 tube unit uses I'm guessing (2) 12AX7? and (2) 6V6GT, (1) 6X5GT, looks like a lower wattage version of their (4) 6V6 model amplifier...
Not sure if originally sold in a small wood console, meant to be built into a wall panel, or used in a phonograph or tuner combo setup?
About to go through my many "radio news" issues for ads tonight after brush hauling this afternoon,
If anyone has any technical or advertising info they can scan for me on this model, it would be appreciated!

Not listed in my Sams photofact index books... I checked my Sams audio amplifier manual sets 1-9 and closest model number I can contrive for this from many circuit examples of tuners and amplifiers is "200A"

EDIT: Possibly McGee Radio, Terminal radio and Newark featured "Espey" Hi-Fi- Equipment during the mid 1950's, the other companies above only carried sporadic items throughout those years...
Thanks all!

Well, still nothing to be found out there about this model of amplifier...

I suspect the one pictured on worthpint in a search is this same amplifier someone tried to pawn off as a "vintage project amp" some time ago. (date of sale unknown)
Nonetheless I may attempt my first schematic drawing(s?) soon, as I plan on messing with the preamp circuit on this to get more gain for electric guitar
or adding a tremolo/vibrato or small reverb unit later inside, as the circuit is the same as a common early Fender reverb box line up. -
12AX7,
12AT7,
(2) 6K6GT (1) 6X5GT-

Here are some photos...not certain what the original input cap is at the 12AX7? (replaced the rest, all original :) ) as it has 3 orange lines, does a .33 makes sense in this circuit?

Amongst parts salvaged for this project is a art deco school cabinet I bought at a music store swap meet closeout 10 years ago for 5 bucks, the Bogen 12" Jensen Alnico PM I bought 5 some odd years ago before prices skyrocketed, masonite from a Hammond organ, matching brass vent panel for tubes from a Telefunken Salzburg console, cabinet hardwood reinforcement pieces salvaged from a GE L-916 cabinet that rotted in the rain...

Three orange lines on a "bumblebee" capacitor indicate 33,000 pf, or 0.033 mfd.

Thanks Tim for the clarification, do you think replacing the .033 with a .047 would get more gain off the Hi-Z input using a single coil pickup guitar?
I was planning on drilling out a ΒΌ" input jack anyway, perhaps I could add the .047 to that input and leave the .033 RCA jack input signal original....

Today I took some photos of the completed cabinet, after deciding  yesterday to recede the front control panel into the case...
Now I don't even need screws to hold it in and it's easier (and less parts to lose) to service in the future.

Added a photo here of the under chassis, replaced the bumblebee with 2 orange drops tied to .0375, should be close enough and have several other orange drops ( .015, .047 or .02) to throw in as subs as well as a overseas made .033.
