I have just purchased a lovely Telefunken console. However, I didn't see a page for it. So, I am hoping that someone can guide me.

So, far there is an issue with the balance. The balance has normal and "enhanced" or "extenuated". When the balance is in the normal setting the left channel is significantly defeated but playing. I am not great at electronics. My firt line is to clean the pot and make sure it is clear. Does anyone have any common problems that i could start with to debug this? Or give me some hints on what to debug?.

When the balance is in extenuated, the channel is quite clear, the same as the right.

2nd the Trebel is entirely seized. Luckily in the middle. I will clean the pot. but if there are other things I need to look at any responses would be welcome.

Thank you for any assistance.

Hi,
Are you common with re-capping?
The Chassis will be an Opus, Bayreuth was the name of
the top-of-the-line consoles.
Do you have the manual to get an overview about the schematic?

Regards,
SIXMILLION DOLLARMAN
